Hi Buzzcut1,
I have a class A motor home that I travel and camp in at this time. Mostly weekend camping witha a couple two week trips a year. I have been searching for a truck camper to take my first extended trip out west in the spring of 2012. I live in south Louisiana. I have noticed in my searches that it appears that California has more truck campers for sale than any other state. Is this the preferred way to travel/camp in the west and if so why. Thanks in advance for your reply.
I have been debating if I should drive my motorhome (37 Allegro Bay) out west pulling my Jeep or purchase a Truck Camper. Hope you can help.
BTW, I have made a couple trips to Colorado Durango/Silverton area. Is the terrain any worst than that further west?
More Truck Campers... not sure why. We do have a lot of mountainous areas with narrow roads where a fiver or a big class A would be a pain
Many more spots where you can fit a TC in next to a river on a pullout and quite of few of the park roads and campgrounds have length limitations.
It could also just be that we have 38 million residents so you just have a large pool of buyers and sellers....
