A friend of mine did the first service on the truck, and installed the air-ride bags, in cab controller, and mounted the front hitch, as well. Spent about 4 days working on it. Mounted he compressor to the frame, and even built a water tight box around it, in case we hit deep water lol.
It's good to have talented friends.
After the air bags settle in place with a wek of driving, I'll put the camper in the bed and begin those modificatios: back porch, upgraded battery storage, and minor interior repairs.
April 26th: last work day
June 1: Officially retired
June 2: enroute to Alaska, then parts unknown
Might see you in Alaska also as we are leaving around May 15th. Look for a Royal Red 350 CC King Ranch with a front rack and tool box (looks like the Beverly Hillbillies) with a NL 10 2.
Congrats on your retirement. Looks like you had some vacation time coming to you when you retired.
I have been reired from my main job since 2002 after 31.5 years and at the age of 53. But I didn't stop working till about 2 years ago from projects on another job. Really nice being retired for good now.
