Got the Happy Jack apart, cleaned it, grease and oil, thanks to thread below, makes it much easier. I took the guts out of it and I had to straightened the outside tube that got bent this winter when I caught it with the truck support. I used a big hammer and banged on it with a piece of wood and got the tube perfectle straight, it now goes in/out real easy. The mechanism was well lubricated, top with white grease and shaft with oil, it was moving pretty good.
I now have to paint it and put it back toghether. Taking apart was faily easy. One piece of plastic that hold the plastic top gizmo inside got broke when I took it out, but I will have a new one machined.
