GGGRRR!!! Well I checked all the air pressure in the new tires I had installed only 90 miles ago in prep for a quick overnight local getaway. Inside dual totally showed 5 psi. when I tried to air up I heard the hiss of air coming from inside. Trip cancelled. At least it wasn't the tire itself. It was the inner dual valve extender and it had been sliced almost clear through. When? I don't know as I haven't driven it since July and it was "fine" then.. Maybe on the way home. In any event, it's truck is under the RV port and I have to replace the valve extenders (or leave them off completely.) In 21 years of driving dually trucks with valve extenders this is the first time I've ever had an issue, so I guess it was my turn!
