Finished my DIY rear door awning and have found a solution to facilitate leaving it in place for travel. One of those snap on flexible covers and two Velcro straps and good to go. Wish I was smart enough to post pics but alas not me. Side awning will be installed today, finally, after all the oh boy, oh boy stuff! And also considering installing a rod tube we hadn't used in years I found in a shed to carry fishing rods on outside of the camper. Just where to mount it, hmm. Probably on the jack mounting plates as we take the jacks off for travel and they are the old fashioned type "L" mounts. Then the old girl will be complete. Now if we can find a cheap, really cheap but dependable older model work truck we will be able to just leave the camper on the dually and be able to make ready for travel easier on me. Gearing up for some expected bad weather so hauling in firewood on the short list today too.
