Put the 20 x30 tarp back on for the fifth time in the past three weeks, getting up to another six inches of the annoying white stuff tonight. This is the first season that I've done this. I keep a cover on in the winter to help keep her clean. With the daytime melting and re-freezing at night, ice would build up under the snow and stick to the fabric cover making it almost impossible to get it clean. The next day I pull most of the snow off with my roof rake and then gently pull the tarp off with the remaining snow, not having to use a ladder anymore keeps the risk factor of getting hurt next to nill. Now I don't have to worry about having a heavy build-up of snow sitting on the roof. Using this tarp is not only a whole lot safer, I can get the job done in less than half the time. Tough getting older.
