- AITGExplorerDe-winterized and got the refrigerator LP cleaned and adjusted. Put all the freezables back on board. Wiped down counters and added Pure Power and 2 gal of water to the black tank.
Four days ago I had 6 Michelins installed so today I got the front end alignment checked with the camper on the truck. Took the camper back off, washed the truck and put it away for a few days.
Now, we're ready for Florida next month. - narcodogExplorer IIDe-winterized the rig today and flushed the h/w heater. I do this every year but for some reason there was a lot more of what appeared to be calcium particles coming out of the tank. I also gave the bathroom a super cleaning since I had the Clorox in the system.
- 3_tonsExplorer IIII replaced a non-adjustable 2 stage solar controller (14.4v, 13.5 @ 90%), with a single stage adjustable voltage type. This is on my supplemental 140w system...The 300w main system uses a MPPT 14.4v single stage.
Lesson learned, mixing different type of charge controllers is not an efficient idea. Previously, at 90% charge the 2 stage controller would drop to 13.5v and cause the 2 panel 140w system to drop out. Like-kind controllers will now work in concert (140w + 300w) to enhance my race against the setting sun! - iwon415ExplorerYes the Qwik fill kit for 2 batteries. Got a great price from Tweetys, no sales tax. Cheaper than Camping World by far.
How do you like yours? Just getting the hang of it. Is it easy to tell when they are full from the bulb being hard to squeeze? - JoeChiOhkiExplorer II

Which one did you get? I've been using the Qwik-Fill system for the last couple years myself :). - iwon415ExplorerInstalled a battery watering system cause they were impossible to get to without removing them....
- JoeChiOhkiExplorer IIOrdered a new airlift bellows for the driver's side, replacing anything that might have been damaged in the big bump last October.

Me too! But I am next week! I'll post trip photos then.
Tonite though, I started installing the new LED marker lights. I only put two on the front so far and then it got dark. Here are a few comparison photos. I like the LEDs. They are brighter and seem to have a more yellow glow, albeit a lighter yellow than the OEM lights. 12 to go before we leave next Wednesday..

And here is one just for fun... Only the front 2 side marker lights have been replaced so far... I ran out of time and will be gone until next Monday. the rest may have to wait until we get back!

- Brad820ExplorerRepaired the outside shower and re-installed using SS screws and Eternabond caulk.
Installed two sealed 14 diode LED clearance lights and sealed the hole that the wires came through along with the screw holes. NO MORE clearance light lends leaking and rotting the front end!!! Tested installation - all good.
Started re-caulking all seams, trim, and joints with ProFlex RV caulk.
