We got down to 29 degrees last night...oh no! So I turned on heater and set thermostat to 40. Turned it off today cause its due to rain and temps are going up again. Whats winterizing mean? Got to love parts of California...
Me too! Verified water still pumped to the sink in kitchen, bathroom and the toilet, then turned on a little electric space heater. Didn't want to turn on propane heater since the camper is covered. The exhaust would burn down the cover and camper I bet...
Yup....26* this morning when I got up. Set the little catalitic at 45* last night. Sposed to be the same tonight, so I'll leave it on. - Ski_Pro_3Explorer

- portscannerExplorerCalled out someone to fix the generator that starts then stops running after 5 seconds.
- firemedic08ExplorerThought about it sitting at home lonley while im stuck working away from home.....
- dakonthemountaiExplorerI lit the water heater and fired up the furnace ....to be used as a guest house during Christmas. I also scraped off the ice and snow that blew in under the RV port off the cover on the hood of the truck ... 23 degrees here today and windy. Winter is officially here this Friday! :) Merry Christmas all! :)
Dak - billyray50ExplorerBrought truck/camper out of covered storage back to the house. Blew out the lines and added rv antifreeze to all drains. Plugged in and charged up batteries, threaded new jenson radio antenna on roof that must have been loose and lost on last trip. had lunch inside and listened to local sports channel planning next trip to daytona beach to visit dear old dad in january...Happy Holidays!!!
- ZigExplorerLoaded camper back onto truck. I had to use the truck as a truck a few weeks ago so the camper came off (unusual) and got a chance to change the oil and wash the truck. 50°F today is very unusual for this time of year in northern Indiana, so taking advantage. Have to get ready for Christmas at the inlaws. Gotta have my own personal space... :)
- Buzzcut1Nomad IIfilled the fresh water tank as it dawned on me that was the one thing I forgot to do after the last trip. I keep the rig stocked and fueled as one never knows when a big earthquake may hit or the sudden road trip urge may strike. Always be prepared for the unexpected.
- the_tc_lifeExplorerhid santa gifts in it. we wont be taking the camper out to a ski resort until after christmas.
