Replaced all of the worthless generic CH751 locks and keys with new tubular-style locks and keys. A very quick and worthwhile mod that adds greater peace of mind.

And did you know that most tubular locks can be defeated by a simple Bic Pen :D BTDT :o - 214skierExplorerInstalled "Care Free - Truck Awn" rear awning. Really excited about this.

- Fixed a slow leak we had under the kitchen sink drain. Turned into more of a job than just replacing a gasket or two once we took everything apart. The sink drain down tube had a cracked fitting. Neither Home Depot or Lowe's had the exact replacement fitting, but with a little ingenuity, we found enough parts to make a repair. Not too upset about the need to make a repair, after all, the camper is 15 years old :-)

That's funny about changing out the locks, I removed my locks and replaced them with the simple quarter turn latches. It's not like there's any protection anyways, if someone wanted it to that compartment, it's gonna happen seeing as thte material is so thin and lightweight anyways. If anyone gets in and takes something, at least I'm not ALSO fixing a damaged hatch door too...
I agree. The standard RV locks aren't there for security as much as to keep them from vibrating open on their own. The doors are so thin that on my first trip out the battery slid a little and popped it open without any permanent damage. I since put a wood block in to hold the battery.
Adding "secure" locks may just encourage someone to wonder what you're trying to keep. - Buzzcut1Nomad IIfixed the annoying tic tic tic in the Fantastic fan. The temperature sensor kept hitting the rotating fan so I pulled off the screen and tucked the flat end of the sensor into the screen lip and re-tightened the screen into place. totally quiet now that the sensor is held in place in two spots.
