- ggadwaExplorerWell this wasn't exactly work on the Camper...but the end result will be better TC hauling. My truck is only 8222 miles old purchased in December 2012 and 99.9% of the miles have been with the Eagle Cap 950 on the Truck. I noticed ride quality deteriorated considerably by our last trip from Idaho to the Oregon Coast....
Ordered up 4 Rancho 9000XL Adjustable Shocks. Replaced the Motorcraft shocks yesterday and found both front shocks pretty dead and one back one had no rebound at all. Maybe should be a warranty issue but I don't even want another set of Motorcraft OEM Shocks. Since I had Rancho 9000's on my last F350 Super Duty...I went with the same again...Some folks insist Bilstein's are better!?!??!
I'll see how the truck and camper ride this coming weekend when we head out for Amateur Radio Field Day.

Alright, Dak! You know the drill. Dak - mark_beExplorerThe rear passenger side door couldn't be opened from the outside anymore. Removed the door panel to fix this. It works again...for now.
- JumboJetExplorerInstalled a set of Torklift Glow Steps and A7600 Glow Guide (Hand Rail).

Screen resolution for pictures in text - Art_SchlangenExplorerWell I pull the trigger to and install Air Tabs on my camper. Hoping to cut the wind noise around the passenger door and reduce bugs. We will see how it works. ART

woke up hearing thunder, then rain, then the realization hit me that due to the 100*+ days I had all the vents and skylight really wide open in the TC, truck windows open, and car windows open, . wide awake now at 4am I tossed on shorts ran out barefoot and closed in order of importance: over bed skylight, Fantastic Fan over dinette, bath fan, truck windows, then I finally got around to my car lol
It was an invigorating cold water morning shower complete with loud sound effects and a dazzling light show, must have seen over 50 lightning bolts.

(2) 2x6 w 1/2 BC plywood sandwiched in between - glued and screwed. Setting on some heavy duty jack stands - pulling ideas together for a pantry closet - prepping for our trip to Michigan. Oh yeah purchased a Spa Sensations 8" Foam Mattress for the trip. We think that will be a good fit.
- happycamper1942ExplorerI changed the interior lights to LED, preparing for my fishing week at the end of the month.
