So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Went camping this past weekend wih the kids! More to follow in a trip report.

RWD111, be sure to tell your insurance company your annual mileage. Mine gives me a break on price because I don't use it for commuting to work, retired, and low annual mileage.

The front right side tore off in a blizzard while we coming back from AZ. The Filon on my AF 1150 was gone from the nose to the bedroom window top to bottom. Removed the puckered luan, dried it out, used white alumnum 22" flashing (overlapping top to bottom after making a template. Cleaned the nose cap metal (so the flashing would fit in)used caulking and liquid nails.... and it looks great! Total costs about $25.

I dug the TC out today,taking advantage of today's near 60 degree day here. The pile of snow removed was 8x8x4. All done by my well rested cannons which put the pile there in the first place. It was still hard as heck seeing that it's in the shade all winter. Tomorrow I'll tackle the pile around the trailer,then I'll get her loaded n hitched for a trip to Columbus,OH., to help our daughter move into her newly purchased condo. I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight. K

DE-Winterized the TC! Yea!

Flushed all the pink antifreeze from the lines and fixtures.

Added a new 9 Volt battery to the wireless remote for the jacks. Re-installed my "porch" to carry extra propane, grill, etc.

I did use it on two trips during the Winter deer hunting seasons and a trip up to my wife's uncle's house in N. Missouri.

I will be heading out this weekend to a NASCAR race! Yea!

holy moley did I earn my paycheck today. no sooner than I had started cooking breakfast some 30 minutes before show start I had a rider bucked off. just bruised. At mid day another rider came off. head injury, sent by ambulance to the hospital. long day.

finished the installation of the hd antennae on the camper. i did not want one of those crank up styles. i also liked the low profile of this one. it works great!

cleaned the inside and loaded my EMS gear, Leaving at 6 am to work an 11 hour day at a horse show.
