- Buzzcut1Nomad IIStarted offloading from 9 days on the road. fridge is emptied and our personal gear removed. Still have to strip the sheets and clean out the grime inside. Oh and eventually get around to taking the Kayaks off the roof. I just spent two hours scrubbing off 1600 miles of bug splats on the nose and the underside of the cab over what a mess.
Then I get to change the oil and swap out fuel filters in the truck. - TiziExplorerUpgraded my Parallax 7345 converter/charger to a 4 stage Progressive Dynamics. A big thanks to Randy at Bestconverter!
- BonesquatchExplorerToday after work I loaded her up in the rain, packed her with all the essentials for a long weekend, and tomorrow we ride to Big Bend.
- Bob__BExplorerPut it on the truck for the first time in 4 years....Retired and going to do some camping / fishing.
Replaced kitchen faucet that wouldn't shut off.
Washed it.
Put in some LED bulbs.
Wow....My new truck drives better with the camper on it.
Crap....the gray water dump valve is leaking. - pjay9ExplorerI changed the bulbs to LED...what a difference that made...I think the 5000K light is better for reading and games...plus this is the first step in the grand scheme of adding two batteries and an invertor with solar.
Also did some mental remodels of the galley area and called for prices on a few items. As always my Lance dealer in Yakima has come thru again with the best prices. I told him to make a folder as I will be adding to the list.
Decided to take the pass thru window out (eliminate) and install it in the galley window space...it being slightly narrower will open the backsplash area and the window treatment will not be in the way for food prep. That's because the new smaller single bowl sink will open the space up. The new sink is bigger than the biggest side of the twin bowl OEM's. Sink is ordered, it is a Kraus KBU16, ss undermount! Yes the countertop is being replaced as well along with the range to a cooktop only. - K_MacExplorerAdded door supports to my hamper/storage area's in my 10-2 cd se on the sides of the bed. The window's frame prevent's them from standing up on their own, it's a PIA when lying down, and holding it open with one arm and trying to see where my DW put everything for me. She'll be thrilled next time she does my packing and find's that they now stay open. Can't wait to see her reaction. Amazing what $10.00 can do for you.Priceless.
- hedgeExplorerI converted the shore cable from mouse-hole style to Marinco detachable. I didn't want to drill any new holes in the side so it comes out the bottom, not ideal but manageable.
I had to get it done before it gets too cold here, that cable was unmanageable when cold. - Tinkered with the interior some, just cleaning it mostly.
Heading out on a trip tomorrow, just a weekend trip. - trailgranny50ExplorerNothing physically, thought a lot about it add finally got word on new bathroom components.......finally on their way via FedEx. Sure hope they treat this shipment better than the last one consisting of the new AC unit! A replacement was sent and supplier said to just throw the original in the trash! It's still sitting in my barn with cracked drain pan and a few, very few, vent find. Guess it will be a back up for the one we installed. LOL ANYWAY, install scheduled next week, hope, fix one sheet of ceiling paneling in cab over and add dedicated breakers for microwave and AC then it will function like new at less then a fourth of the cost of new and no worries about minor owwies along the way.
- RaftenExplorerUloaded TC in its new resting spot and watched it do some disturbing twisting as it came up to freestanding because of the uneven grade the truck sits on. No worries, improve things soon.
