So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

December 8th will be departure date for Southern UTAH. We will finish loading up the Camper, and the pets and hope to hit the road on a snow free day.....either way we are heading south from Stanley Idaho for a while.

Finished up my insulation against the cold in the sky light and the overhead vents. Used Vinyl and boat cover snaps along with two inch insulation board. Wife helped lots in the sewing department. Even framed up a piece of Insulation Board fr the Window going to the Truck cab. Came out looking pretty nice, I think.

Found the issue with my left rear camper jack not working and fixed it. Was also blowing a fuse when I turned the right turn signal on. Switched bulbs and it seems to be working.
Heading down to the Oregon Dunes in 2 weeks for some riding.

Returned to our favorite...Bethany Beach, DE, for a weekend in the wind and rain. This follows our weekend celebration of Thanksgiving on Saturday.

Left another nice camping spot on our inaugural winter tour if the southeast from Oklahoma to Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida all the way to Key West then brother's for Thanksgiving and Tampa fishing, on west thru Florida panhandle, stopping again in Alabama, thru Mississippi and Louisiana leaving there from Palmetto Island State Park on to Texas. Stopping at Red Lobster for lunch then north to wherever we end up to stop early to watch the OKC THUNDER play, how they win this time ugh, on to White Oak for family visit then home to Okieland and the cold for rest of winter. Three weeks have stretched into four and only seems like a few days. Could get used to this traveling thing except for the money thing. Great time!

Last time 4 wheeled with camper,broke window and everthing in camper ended up on the floor:)

Folded in the solar panels, loaded the motorcycles, to head out, in the morning. Heading into the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts for the winter. Just finished exploring, again, the Eastern Sierras for the last 5 weeks from Lee Vining to Lone Pine. Perfect weather. Crisp cold nights with wonderous star filled sky. The best part? No crowds or people, even with the Thanksgiving Holiday. Good preparation and Boondocking provides another wonderful truck camping experience and the time to deal with the loss of my best friend.

Rebuilding new to me replacement door for back of camper.Before ski season.Boy are the junk.But not for long.

Cleaned six inches of snow off the roof so it can dry off, before I put the new cover on tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a quick snow season.
