- billyray50ExplorerCongrats Jumbo jet on new truck! Looking to upgrade my 2006 Dodge ram soon for that model truck too...very nice!!
- The_Mad_NorskyExplorerNice truck JumboJet.
Wish I could install gear as quick as you've done. I'm kind of the one thing today, something else tomorrow kind of pace person. - JumboJetExplorerEverything I did today was for carrying the truck camper so I guess it counts. 1. installed my Torklift tie downs; 2. installed my Torklift StableLoads; installed my Torklift SuperHitch; 4. installed my Centramatic wheel balancers
All on my new 2014 RAM 3500 Laramie 4x4 DRW :
- wannabegoneExplorerGot my first 2 mods out of the way on the new to us TC. First I added a rear view camera so I can keep an eye on the tailgaters. I already have cameras on the TT and my enclosed trailer so I just had to mound and run the wires. I chose to go with an adhesive wiring cover

instead of attempting to fish it through the interior, the DW was glad to hear that lol. I still need to add 2 small pieces on both ends to neaten it up.

When we were at the dealer where we got our new to us TC the DW noticed these
On the new Lance trailers. She liked them so I was tasked to install them on the rear. First I removed the old rear gutter remains

And added the new gutter ends

Other than a slight modification to the right side gutter
Both fit perfectly - JumboJetExplorerPut a new set of wheels underneath it. 2014 RAM 3500 DRW Laramie. Pictures later as I have to install the Torklift tie downs and Torklift SuperHitch.
- narcodogExplorer IITwo years ago I took the cushions out of the rig and installed an swivel office chair. It was pretty cheap just wanted to see how it would work. For me it was fine. Then last year I installed a second as my DW was going to be traveling with me for a three month trip in Montana. The cheap chairs were not comfortable when on several occasions we spent a few days in the rig due to bad weather.
A few days ago I bit the bullet and ordered two leather mid back chairs. I think they will be much more comfortable then the cheap chairs. - trailgranny50ExplorerTraded out shower head for Oxigenics, got parts for new curtain slide for shower privacy and warmth in there when stepping out of shower wet and to towel off, picked up free carpet sample to make mat for shower floorand tried to find all the missing tools from my tool box someone "borrowed". They're still MIA Errrrrr!
- bcbouyExplorergot my new white (to match the truck and the camper)fastguns today .nothing left to do but install some shelves and drawer slides in the cabinets.now all i need is the actual camper.
- ggadwaExplorerTaking all of the below comments into account and if they are even close to true and correct, I think we'll be pretty happy. Yesterday I finished off installing (2) 6 volt 220 amp Full River AGM's, a Blue Sky 3000i MMPT multi-stage Solar Controller and an additional 160 watt solar panel for a total of 270 watts solar.
"Performance wise, the wet cells can't touch the AGM's ability to charge faster, hold a greater charge, discharge more without damage, and they do last longer, plus they are less susceptible to failure from bumps and vibration from those rough mountain forest roads we love so much."
No more struggling to get the Trojan 125's out of a very snug battery compartment 4 times a year for servicing and the additional Solar power will be really nice.
Washed and waxed the Truck and Eagle Cap TC today and hitting the road north bound in a couple days.
Happy TC camping,
Gary & Laurii - iwon415ExplorerAfter 8 years of unloading on my sloped driveway, I broke down and rented a storage spot 4 miles from home.
The Happijacks never felt as stable as my Atwoods did which is what brought this problem to a head...
As an added bonus, found out the storage has an RV dump included, which is great as the last free one around here is closed down indefinitely. Now I can return home and dump tanks and actually use the saniflush, etc!
