- Butch50ExplorerTook off my HappiJacs and shipped them out today to HappiJac yo be refurbished. They are upgrading them to the new style and then ship them back to me. So for now the camper has to stay on the truck. Of course I don't take it off anyway as that is the main purpose of the truck. Can't wait to get them back so we can maybe get in a trip for a bit.
HappiJac said about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they should be able to have them back to me. I need to try and get out for a quick one before they operate on my foot as there won't be much camping till it is healed as they have to cut some bones and then have to wait till it heals and sure it has to be the right foot so pretty hard to run the go pedal and can't walk on it. - the_tc_lifeExploreri added a second group 24 battery to the camper. i also added better access doors to my citywater hookup and the outside 110v outlet.

i also changed out 3 bulbs to led. only 2 more to go then they are all changed out. man, i have a lot of lights in the camper. - btggraphixExplorerBuzzcutt - good idea. Always wondered how on earth you'd get something back if it fell in that shower drain.
Last night we returned from a weekend camping trip and parked it without draining so the propane is still keeping her heated. Tonight or tomorrow I'll winterize. Am I the only one that thinks winterizing the campr on New Year's Eve is a perfectly acceptable way to celebrate another year?
I did discover (after popping a GFI in the garage, a GFI in the camper, and my 30A camper post breaker....that the block heater in my Duramax is no longer playing nicely so I gotta get that baby changed out soon. - Buzzcut1Nomad II

buzzcut1 - okay...ewwww. you get an award for that one. maybe a shower cap for a prize? well, its something that had to be done right?
yeah, but at least I spared everyone a picture of the gunk I pulled out.
Took the rig out for a drive this morning ( first drive in about 7 weeks) to circulate all the fluids, charge up the truck batteries, and generally check out all the systems before my first horse show of 2013. Pulled out the tire pump as the back left tire was down about 15 psi right rear was down 7, fronts were off by 4. The airbags needed 5 psi. Went out on I580 and flew up the Altamont pass to N Flynn road, truck acted like there wasn't even a TC in the bed. I really hated to turn around and come back home. - the_tc_lifeExplorerbuzzcut1 - okay...ewwww. you get an award for that one. maybe a shower cap for a prize? well, its something that had to be done right?
- Buzzcut1Nomad IIused tweezers to pull hair and junk out of the shower drain then I put mesh strainers in both the shower and kitchen sink drains to keep the crud out much better than the oem stuff.

i finally got the little racks that george (xnorp) had made, put in my camper. they will work perfectly for cell phones and other little items.

i also got the camper a little cleaned up. getting it ready to head out in 3 weeks. had to knock some ice off the front nose too.
Nice job!! Its just another example of just how much wasted space we have in these TCs. You made great use out of what was nothing before. - JoeChiOhkiExplorer IIWow, what a contrast to what it looked like when I visited there back in September!
