- We put the camper back on the truck. Got it within 1/8" dead center on the bed on the first try! Installed the battery and tested all the lights and battery charger. Letting the A/C run on shore power to make sure all is good.
Two weeks to go and we leave for 3 months in Alaska! Won't need the A/C in Alaska...they are getting light snow in Anchorage this AM :-( - ggadwaExplorerThis week I removed the two 6 volt Trojan T105 batteries from the Eagle Cap 950 very tight fit battery compartment. Water / acid levels were fine after the past year of camping plus sitting on the Charge Wizard whenever not camping. Then I replaced the 4 gauge three foot long wires to the Xantrex Prosine 2000 Watt inverter with 2/0 gauge welding cables. The cables should really enhance the Inverter efficiency and output when we need it.
Always something to upgrade or modify....when we can't get free to hit the road with the TC.
Happy Camping
Gary and Laurii - curaheeExplorerInstalled a Tri-Metric 2025-RV battery monitor. Took several hours to re-route the wires, put in wire clips, pull the batteries to change the negative cable and just gain access to the back of the battery compartment. Feels good to be able to better monitor our usage of the 2 6V batteries. I also put in a watering system a couple of weeks ago so maintaining them should be easy. Now time to get ready to camp next weekend!

Still need to clean up the meter wires..

Butch,
Would you share how you installed the shelves? I think I don't really need the hanging space, but more shelves would be great.
Thanks!
Not to much to post. I went to Lowes and bought 2 72" strips of shelve mounting hardware cut them in half to make two 36" sections and some clips that fit them. Then I also bought a 11.5 X 48" shelving board. Mounted the strips and then cut the shelving board to 22 3/8" as that was the width that I needed. Put the clips into the shelving strips and put the boards in. I made the boards just slightly bigger than was needed but I wanted to make sure they wouldn't bounce let the clips fall out. The hardest part of it all was trying to get into the opening in the closet. I took the door off as I'm a pretty big guy so it was still tight. Anyway I took a few pictures of it but not much to see as a small space.

I put in some shelves in a hanging closet in the cabover area. We have a wardrobe right at the back door so didn't feel that we needed more hanging area but did need more shelves. If we decide that we would rather have hanging all I have to do is remove the shelves as the are adjustable type.

- Resealed the window in the back door of the camper. Getting ready for the Alaska Highway. Hopefully the highway will be dusty instead of cold and wet :-( Packing starts in another week!
- WVbassmistressExplorerSwitch out the table mounting plate on the floor from a one that sticks up about 3 inches to a flat mount one. Also, we have never used the fridge on propane so we fired it up to test it out. Getting ready for next journey on Memorial Day weekend.
