So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Not today, but last Thursday. I picked up the truck/camper from the installer. I now have a brand new roof and they also installed my new Fantastic Fan! Getting excited about leaving next week on a trip!! :)

I got the floor done in the house, so I got it out and dewinterized it, checked out the water heater, pump, and started getting ready to "CAMP" it seems like a long time ago that we went last.

we are going to the back pasture this weekend.

Finished the roof caps I started a year ago, permanant repair is done. Started loading up the camper for the weekend, our dogs got so exited when they saw the camper, they got sick and puked. Happens every time when we leave on trips, they can't wait to go.

i reframed the dinette window down from a 30x54 to a 15x30..i wanted it more private plus should be easier to heat and cool

I replaced the little bulb that was in the range hood with a LED 30 unit. The factory bulb was so small I could have stuck it in my ear. With a black range hood and stove top, the light my wife had to work with was deplorable. I realized a cook has to be able to see the food they are cooking. I guess you call this a win-win situation.

Re-installed the dinette cushions. Earlier I took the covers off for a good washing & inspect the foam and only need to replace one foam piece. Should be an easy fix.

Still thinking about a full replacement down the road.

Took it to Bondi's Island (sounds like a nice place to take a truck camper doesn't it?)

There's a sewage treatment plant there where you can dump the RV for $1. That was our Lance 815's maiden voyage!

Topped off the propane tanks, fresh water, filled the truck with diesel. All that's left to load is food and some clothes for me and we are ready to head out early friday

Since the camper is off the truck for more maintenance and with the storms in the Midwest heading my way I decided to put blocks & jackscrews under the camper for more support just in case.
Feeling bad for the folks who have lost everything in those tornadoes.
