- mark_beExplorerReplaced the software chip for my blue sky 2512ix solar controller, which was sent to me under warranty. It now charges the way it should. The batteries were overcharging before the swap.
- We finished loading the camper and departed on 1 June for Alaska. Thanks to all those who sent wishes for a good trip.
So far things have gone great with only minor hardware stuff (lost one clearance light cover that blew off). We had never done the parking lot camping stuff. Tried it the first night out and was pleasantly surprised. Stayed at Camping World in Draper, UT just south of SLC. They let us camp around back where it was quieter...no charge and they even let us connect to AC for the refrigerator. Yes, we did do some shopping there! - JumboJetExplorer

Loaded it up for a trip to Moore, OK. Will be cooking for relief workers or whoever shows up to eat as one of 3 teams that will be there.
We had to stop short of OKC Friday night. We did an overnight in Seminole. No hotel/motel rooms for the other 3 people that went with us.
Heavy rain, small hail, and high winds sat upon us almost all night.
We made it to our location in Moore and served 6,500 steak and chicken sandwiches on Saturday. We served another 1,000 this morning and have made it safely back home.
The destruction is totally amazing. TV pictures do not do justice to actually being there. It is a miracle that only 24 people died during that storm.
The much smaller tornadoes Friday night killed 9 people and warnings were being broadcast two days before. A storm chaser, his son, and friend all died Friday night.
Thanks for all your thoughts. - Buzzcut1Nomad IIgot tired of the shower curtain popping out of the end of the track so I made use of a wine cork from last night.

No offence intended, but the post above has a height=480 with no width indicated. The post below was edited to have a height=447 with no width indicated.

When I downloaded the photo to my computer, from Photobucket, it is width=577 and height=1023. Because the Photobucket height is so tall, the photo height=447 with no width is what should be in the Post.

Moderator - Reddog1Explorer IIFolks, I would like to point out there are certain requirements when posting Photos on RV.NET. The photo size is very important.
Photo maximum 640 pixel width.
Screen Resolution for Pictures in Text
The link above explains the details and why the Maximum Width of 640 pixles. I think it does an excellent job explaining.
The link includes:
"It is not yet a rule but the pictures posted within text should not exceed 640 pixel width, 480 pixel height or 100kb file size wherever possible. This is so that you do not handicap dial-up, cellphone users and those with smaller displays."
For years, the 640 with has at least been the standard on the TC Forum, if not the rule. As the Moderator on the TC Forum I will continue to use the 640 with as the standard and the rule, until Admin instructs me to do otherwise. Photos exceeding the 640 pixel width will be edited (width or without comment) or deleted, depending on of oversize photos frequency.
I understand on occasion, there will be an "oops", and a oversize photo will be posted. That is understandable, my concern is repeated oversize photos.
