...and.. next week replacing my POS propane generator (total of 145 hrs in 8 years of use and broken constantly) with a new Onan. Hope this one works out better! - billyray50ExplorerNothing again.. Too hot in Dallas.. Going to the RV show instead!!
- I turned on the fridge.
I took the sheets off the bed.
I loaded some clothes.
I wondered why I didn't empty the fresh water tank after the last trip. - dakonthemountaiExplorerYesterday I washed and waxed the entire rig! It SHINES! (I like shiny.. :) ) Then last night I replaced all the old area rugs, towels, bedding, etc. I had in the Weekender that were in blues with new ones in greens, browns, etc. that I purchased for it to coordinate with the color scheme. I was Mr. decorator! ;)
Dak - Buzzcut1Nomad IILoaded in the fly rods, waders, outdoor clothes, water is full, propane is topped off. I still have food to rustle up, Kayaks to load...looking forward to 9 days on the road. Still have to swap out my 16's for the 19.5s but that will be done by Friday.

I hacked up a piece of 1x6 and threw the pieces on a disc sander to make some bumper extensions. This gives me a fat 1/2" at my truck's taillights. After screwing the first version onto the existing bumpers, I realized it would be best if they didn't extend past the top of the rubber bumpers, preventing a snag on my truck's bed rail while loading/unloading the camper. So, I took 'em off and cut/sanded 'em again. I debated about epoxy, and decided against it, for now. The screws are #10x1.25".
