Simple. 4-5 extra pieces of pipe and fittings. More parts. More labor. More leaks (potentially).
BTW, I like the idea, too!!! - RbertalottoExplorerUncle bud....Nice work! I need to do that to my camper. Why in God's name don't the manufactures do that?
- uncle_budExplorerI have a Northstar TS1000. I moved the p-trap under the sink to the
side of the cabinet. Made for a lot more room.

- Buzzcut1Nomad IINot to the TC per say but I have been having some steering wheel play and the only thing in the front end that was still original was the steering box. So at 130,000 miles we ordered a new one and had it installed. I got it from these guys http://www.redheadsteeringgears.com/re-manufacturing Looking at the cramped space where it is located I am so glad I opted not to DYI. The shop mgr said he could hear the mechanic cursing my truck during the removal and install. Haven't driven it with the TC
on yet but unloaded it was night and day, so much better

- happycamper1942ExplorerGave the outside a good wash, charged the battery, hoping to use it this weekend.
- jmckelvyExplorerWell not today but last Sunday I replaced the OEM vent/fan in the 990's bathroom with a Fantastic Fan with thermostat. Nice improvement.
- s1214ExplorerI waded thru 2 feet of snow to where it's sleeping. All snug and didn't see any issues.
- bcbouyExplorersold it! now were waiting on the new one.
- portscannerExplorerI received my new emergency hatch lid in a beat up cardboard box today.
Complete with large footprint in the middle of the box.
I lucked out. They stepped on the concave side of the hatch so it did not break.
I will replace my current cracked and leaking hatch with my new lucky hatch. - garryk6ExplorerHad to work part day today, but for to use the camper as part of the job. We had to go inventory a warehouse that is unheated, and the temps have been in the teens to twentys.... So I brought the truck and camper and fired off the wave 3 and the stove top, and got out the coffee pot, and made coffee so we had a place to go warm our hands and bodies. Worked well to keep the coffee flowing, the counting going, and the job done by 1:30.
But came home and put the plow on the truck since now they are calling for 4-8 inches tonight, then tomorrow going to rain, so it will be an icy mess....
Gotta love "spring time" in Alaska!
