- Buzzcut1Nomad IISo the TC has been to a horse show every weekend for the past month. Apparently I am the only one that "cleans" it after use. I felt it was looking a bit unkepmpt so I gave the inside a 401 rub down. Hmmn the walls seem to be more than a few shades lighter and the wood has a richer luster. These two rags just came out of the same pack. i used one to clean the TC walls, door and floor after sweeping out the crud, the other is still unused... aaack
now washing the towels and bedding.
Did I mention that I am working a horse show next weekend then I have one free to go camping then I work horse shows the next 3 weekends? Finally after that it will only be one single day show per month.
- RbertalottoExplorerI carry my Honda 2000 generator on a hitch hauler on the rear of my truck camper. Trying to keep it clean and dry is a challenge. Armed with dimensions I visited the local "Job Lot" store and found a plastic tote that is almost perfect.

I added a couple of tabs to the rear of the lid to hook under the rim of the tub:
On the front I added a couple of oak blocks and two latches:
The Honda fits just about perfect, but is about 1/2" too high near the gas fill. The top is pliable and can still be "snapped" at the sides and the latches on the front pull everything together.
Read for the road! (I tie it down with a ratchet strap and throw a cable lock over it.)

- RbertalottoExplorerMore Stuff!......Are you addicted with accessoritis!
Yesterday, around 10am , I ordered a new LED reading light and a "Plate Popper" and a "Bowl Popper" from Amazon.com....Just about 24 hours later they show up at my door. Amazing delivery service!
I installed the reading light on the side of the speaker cabinet I recently built:
And then I made a wooden holder for the Garmin remote control and relocated my MagLight holder
The "Poppers" went under the cabinet
And lastly, I finally figured out a way to secure the overhead bins I installed last week. Simple oak toggles. Push the containers back a bit and turn the toggle. The containers are plastic so they bend just enough when you push them back to make enough room to turn the toggles:

I'm running out of stuff to do to the camper.....Yikes! - kerry4951Explorer

While at Lowes picking up some stain, I saw a small plastic waste bin.
Was trying to figure out a way to secure it so it doesn't fall over and stays out of the way when camping.
Check this out!

The knob was already there for a storage compartment. But you could add one in another are if you needed to.
Cut the slot just a bit short so there is downward pressure on the bin. Stays rock solid.....
Thats a great idea!!!! Im sure you just gave others out there a good idea to follow - _DJ_1Explorer II
