I mounted a electrostatic filter outside the fender well access door... in the summer time it filters out dust and pollen when the fantastic fans are pulling air through the camper. Since it is in the area between the camper and the trucks side wall there is no way anyone can get in through the open access door.
Strangely enough... cold air doesn't come through it unless it is being pulled by a fan.
Note the latch at the right that allows us to secure the access door when the door is closed.
