Been there and did that ladder.... Janet too with a lot of hugging after... her determination. The road to Mesa Verde is terrorfing to people that don't like heights.
She says "no" and offers to wait while I go for a look and a picture...
after I start going into harms way ((in her mind) only then she'll want to be with me so bad that I will find her still in my foot prints. She won't let me get ahead of her.
OH well... we have been very lucky, we have been about every place that we could dream of... and have the pictures to prove it.
We enjoy other peoples trip reports... a few of them are extreme enough to give the reader a racing heart.
