This is just a few of the wires... I think there were about 15 total... many were about 22 awg)
I could have cut and spliced the gasket... but I didn't want to build in a fail point where it would leak in the future.
With more than 15 splices I had to worry... if the system didn't function properly I'd have to take each of the new connectoes apart... on both ends to try to find why... more than 30 crimps.... and the were hard to get to... standing on a stool, my hands in a narrow hole over head.
When I got through I was almost afraid to try it....
