We reached Baton Rouge late and blew on through....
Heading for Pats Fishermans Wharf in Henderson, LA
The next day would be our 51st wedding anniversary... we we looking forward to spending it with Harvey (the owner/manager) and his wife... I wrote about them a few years ago... wonderful people, kind, generous. We had traded gifts and invitations to visit each others homes.
We pulled in after dark... found a place to park (the only place available.... the parking lot was jammed.
We inspected the inside of the camper.... it had survived.
Janet was a little bit cool and had reashed out fot a very small "airline" blanket while we were still in the truck.... Oops! she felt a pain in her shoulder.... damn!
What else could go wrong.... bad roads and a sore shoulder?
