Happy anniversary to you and Janet. You two look great in the photos.
You mentioned the really bad concrete highway, with the edges of the poured sections that no longer line up. I am so glad they seem to have abandoned concrete here in the UK as a road surface. The 6-lane highway close to our house was concrete 30 years ago, but it was so noisy both for drivers and neighbours. They eventually resurfaced it with tarmac, and about 10 years ago replaced that tarmac with the latest quieter mix of tarmac, which makes a big difference. Not to mention the difference in ride.
