You have been to a thousand places, it was bound to happen that one would not be a favorable experience. You can't control other peoples reactions. It is no big deal and it is not your fault. If the restaurant owner feels better being rude or angry then that his his issue, not yours. You brought business to him, I guess that fact was lost on him. I know you are sorry that it happened but it is over. And keep posting!!!!
