We headed west...
and explored more of Brownsville.
We drove for miles beside a very tall fence... The US/Mexican Border... there was a lot of open ground... it appeared that it was OK to use for agriculture.
I'm not going to post any pictures of the area...
If you should visit the area be sure and stop at the Brownsville Visitors Center
We decided to return north through the McAllen area by following US-281 along the border from Brownsville... then continue on the same US 281 to Alice, Texas.... mostly to keep from retracing our trip south.
