Happy new year everyone and hope you had a nice holidayIm going to be doing some street camping in the city until i find a suitable place to park so it would be nice to have some peace of mind when im away from my vehicleI want to secure my camper with motion sensors which trigger a camera, siren, and lights. I found a few systems that do each task separately. For example, i found a way to arm the camper doors and windows to a loud siren that goes off if triggered. I also found some security systems that have bright lights, motion sensors and camera's , but i havent found any all in one system that does it all. Also there is a lot of home/driveway security that i think can be applied to RV's but i dont see many RV specific units It seems like i may have to pick the best units in each category and build my own complete system Appreciate any tipsThanksAdam

Can't help you with product info but whatever motion sensor you get I would be sure is has a decent sensitivity adjustment. On a windy day gusts can get the loaded camper rocking pretty good if the legs are not down. Good luck.

You might try places that specialize in automotive security as you will likely be on 12v sometimes .

Also there is a lot of home/driveway security that i think can be applied to RV's but i dont see many RV specific units If you'll have reliable internet, something like a Ring Home Security System may do what you want -- they have cameras, motion sensors, lights, etc. The base unit+security system will work without internet (if you sign up for monitoring, it has cellular backup), but I think the cameras require internet for saved storage.

Looking forward to reviewing your homebuilt complete system. Do you have adequate batteries for all this stuff?

I think you would be well advised to park in a campground. Long term rates in the winter are likely quite reasonable and you will save a ton of money by heating with grid electricity instead of burning thru propane like crazy.

hi, unfortunately the marina location is not going to work so i was asking here specifically about alarms/sirens/camera's , the parking spot/location is an entirely different issue at this point. Although i can see how they're connected as the location may trigger the sensors often

The OP said he will park in a marina on the water in queens. A working marina will be setting of a motion alarm all day long.
