We are back on the road!

We finally got out of the O'Reilly's parking lot about 11:30. There running and tail lights not working was the next hurdle.after a little testing and visual verification, I discovered the fuse for the RV Park lights was burned out. Who would think to call the tail lights, RV Park lights. O'Reilly's had just closed and I thought we were screwed till morning for a fuse. Fortunately, I noticed a group of fuses in a location, not in the wiring diagram.  Turned out, they were spares, and in that group, was one 20 amp fuse of the correct tiny tiny size I needed, and on the road we got, only 5 miles to an RV Park, but full hookups!
A long hot shower after a week felt so good. Ran the electric baseboard and maintained 70 all night, and this morning. Kelli wants to wash her hair and girllie up a bit while we have the luxury.
As for the towing, so far sa good. Everything's working to plan. My charge wire split off from the 7 pin +/- to charge the truck is working great. The brake thing uses like 10 amps when actuated to push the brake which seems to work pretty well. I do really like this truck, an International CV with diesel and 4x4. I could see putting a big 11+ foot TC on this baby and continue on with traveling. I think the truck is a rebranded Chevy 6500 I believe. Renting it from Enterprise and they were great to deal with, took my money just like that!

Also, I reiterate what a letdown camping world was, failing every step of the way, and how great PENSINGER'S RV SUPPLY in Bakersfield. They got ALL our parts, everything in TWO DAYS! Lifesavers! If you need reliable service, they came through for us, and hopefully they will for you if you are in need.
Plan now is to dump and fill fresh tanks, then hit the road by 11. I hope to make 300 miles today, well see. Driving during daylight hours is the plan. One gripe is, there's no rear view mirror in the truck, so it makes it a little more difficult to keep a direct eye on how the F250 is doing, and whwther it's still behind us.
One issue I do have, is the height alignment between the tow vehicle, and the TOAD vehicle. Manual says maximum of 3" height difference between the two vehicles attachment points, we have about 5" difference.  I have the TOAD break adjusted to maximum brake to hold back the F250 and we'll keep an eye far ahead on the road before us to prevent any sudden, hard braking.
OK, there's your morning coffee update. We'll keep you posted.
