24 or 10 from 65 to 57?
South of Chicago Thursday, going down 65 and crossing over to 57. 10 is recommended, but 24 looks straight across. Any recommendations of 10 versus 24?

- U.S. 24 should be good road. I-65 on the other hand .....
- 10 -> 114 -> 17 -> 57 is a decent road. Momence is not an issue to get through. I use that route a lot when heading south on 65 from home. 24 is a good road, but by the time you get there 65 has drifted east and 57 has drifted west leaving you with some backtracking. That is probably why 10 was recommended. Would think that the construction on 65 between 10 and 24 should be wrapping up for the season.

- It was a great route until the detour at 41. Followed that and came out OK, but should have just headed south on 41 and cut over some place else.
Was an excellet and scenic road.
