Headed back to Ak. after leaving 3 years ago. Only for two weeks, but a wonderful treat.

Catching silvers off Alison Point has always been the best. The run is usually is at the Point around Aug. 25. Does anyone in Valdez know if the Silvers have already made it to the Point?

Hello, Joe, good to hear from you. Yes, we sold our spot in paradise 3 years ago and still miss it so much. We feel so fortunate to have accrued the 16 years' of memories there and made dear friends.

I'm going to have two weeks to fish, mostly at Valdez, with my brother-in-law and a friend. Hopefully, we can drive up and spend next summer there.

Did you guys get rid of your cabin/home that you had just a short ways from Sheep Mountain. ? Can't believe it has been three years since you quit spending your summers there.

Ok folks, I guess I will answer my own question. Easy freeze says that silvers are at the Point, but the pinks are clogging the water now. They expect things will be better in about a week. Maybe we will meet some of you there around Aug. 26-28. Let us know if you will be there.
