Arkansas I-40 construction

Heading west tomorrow will be driving through Arkansas Wednesday and
Thursday. AR DOT map shows a lot of construction on I-40. My question is
how bad is the construction and are there any or many delays, slow downs?
Are there any parallel routes that would be better? Traveling in a dually pulling a 5th wheel.

It's not that bad except Conway if they ahvent finished it. Rhe rest you can ship right through. othing like PA where they put up 60 miles of Schneider Eggs for 2 guys to work on a bridge. 40 is pretty smooth in AR and OK is pretty rough.

Some construction between Memphis and Little Rock. Some areas it is down to one lane, and traffic moves slowly but no big deal. Be safe and enjoy.

There is some slowdowns on HWY 40 near Fort Smith - better to avoid during rush hour traffic - otherwise it doesn't last too long
