- edm3rdExplorerHave not driven Beebe to Little Rock, but don't remember Searcy to Beebe being that bad - Beebe to Conway on Hwy 64 was fine.
- navybankerExplorerMade the trip and Highway 67 south from Searcy, Arkansas through Little Rock on 440 was very rough concrete that is way past the need for repairs. It was actually dangerous in places. I will not do this again!

If you intend to use 64, You get on it at Beebe not Searcy. It is a super good road all the way to I40 west of Little Rock.
If westbound, US 64 out of Marion (at I-55) shares a common roadway with US 167 from Bald Knob to Searcy to Beebe, where they separate. US 64 goes west to Conway (about mm 125 on I-40), US 167 continues southwest to Little Rock. - towheadExplorerIf you intend to use 64, You get on it at Beebe not Searcy. - edm3rdExplorerAs dunebuggydoug mentioned, there is heavy construction at the east edge of Memphis. Also, there is construction on the I-40 bridge as you enter Memphis. You might want to consider taking the I-55 bridge across, then go a short distance on the southern I-240 loop, and exit northbound to rejoin I-40 and proceed east on the north 240 loop. You will still hit the eastbound construction at the 240/I-40 junction. Try to avoid rush hour.
- navybankerExplorerGood info on Searcy and US 64. We are going to Hot Springs, Arkansas so will try to remember for another trip going farther west.
- RamblinManGAExplorerHi from AZ. . .US 64 thru Searcy looks like the answer to me, thanks to 'edm3rd' for that. I'll try it next trip, Regards, Craig

Yes sir navybanker I was on those roads yesterday only north bound and trust me that is the way to go !! It is some 2 lane from Kennett, MO until you get on 67 south then 4 lanes to LR not bad at all. There was some construction on 67 north of Searcy , it goes into 1 lane in a couple places but we rolled right on thru.
You can also leave highway 67 at Searcy, and take US 64 west to Conway and pickup I-40 at mm 127 as an option - this avoids Little Rock.
