I 75 bridge in Cincinnatti

Are they finished working on south bound I 75 bridge ?

We are traveling from the Austin TX area to Shreveport with a 36ft 5th Wheel. Has anyone traveled on TX 21 through Collage Station and beyond? Is this road RV friendly? If not any suggestions, trying to avoid IH35.
