- louiskathyExplorerThe Lewis and Clark Bridge from hwy 30 (just west of Rainier, OR) across the Columbia River is a very high bridge but it's an easy drive. There's almost a bicycle lane besides the two lanes now!!
*** Last November a pair of eagles started building a nest in a tree next to the ramp/bridge. It's a tall tree and as you get almost to where the bridge starts to span the river, you can look to the east and be eye to eye with the nest. They have not hatched yet but that's gonna be next.
Don't even think about stopping on the ramp/bridge to take a long look. Just watch out for the ones that are. - jamesuExplorerWhich Silver Lake? They're all over. There is a popular Silver Lake in S. Everett also.
- Should also warn that the bridge is not the widest.
Truck route is at the first traffic signal. You turn right and follow signs. - bdpreeceExplorer II

I would take US 30 to Longview, cross over into WA on WA 433 to I-5 on truck route.
WA 4 is very twist and narrow in some areas. US 30 is a good two lane highway, well traveled by RVs.
X2 on this route. Be sure to watch for the truck route on your right after you cross the bridge into Washington as it is easy to miss and the road through Longview is not as easy as the truck route although it is doable with the motorhome. - I would take US 30 to Longview, cross over into WA on WA 433 to I-5 on truck route.
