Black Hills route?
We know to avoid 16A to Keystone, but are wondering if 16A from Game Lodge to Custer would be OK with a beginner with a "new" fifth wheel. Advice? We are lookig at staying in either Custer or Hill C...

If you're coming from Wall / the Badlands to Hill City and/or Custer, it's easier to use 16 from Rapid City to highway 385 into Hill City then Custer...RV friendly with many stretches of four-lane. You mentioned Keystone...coming from the east again, if you want to avoid Rapid City, highway 79 then highway 40 into Keystone. Either way you can easily bypass Rapid City coming from I-90 on the east side.
