Hi all,I want to take the route from Casper, Route 26 to Shosoni and up Route 20 to Greybull then 14 to Cody.Is this a feasible route with a 40'fifth wheel 13'6" in height?I understand there might be tunnels on this route and I can't seem to find a height for them.Also, are there steep grades, etc. I should be concerned about?thanks for the help.Buffy

As Heisenberg said, no problems. If I remember it's a two lane road but good driving. I often check out the Mile by Mile site for info on new routes. I also have the Mountain Directory West and the Motor Carrier's Road Atlas. All provide information to prepare us for traveling to new areas.

As Heisenberg said, no problems. If I remember it's a two lane road but good driving.

I often check out the Mile by Mile site for info on new routes. I also have the Mountain Directory West and the Motor Carrier's Road Atlas. All provide information to prepare us for traveling to new areas.

Three short tunnels just beyond the CG at Boysen SP. Take the cutoff at Meeteetse as others mentioned.

Okay, now I'm confused lol, which wouldn't take much.
Are you saying there ARE tunnels on this 26-20 route?

I'm thinking we would take 120 which is a straight shot from Thermopolis which is where we are spending the night to Cody.

Page 24 says it's posted 14' yet realty is that in certain spots it isn't. It's the Wind River Tunnel 1, 2, 3.

Heading north it's 16 miles to the first tunnel out of Shoshoni. I camped at that little CG and recall truck traffic but was curious. I knew there was two tunnels but saw the third one on google street view. I don't recall any tunnels on 120 shortcut and it's good highway.
