Heading south, it now shows construction BEFORE the last toll booth heading into town. When complete, it will branch off before that toll booth.
For now, to pick up the great bypass, turn left at the first light after the tollbooth. That will take you a bit further than you expect, then you jump on the new road, and it's fabulous!
