Wow. It's been so many years since I've been that way, I didn't realize there was a casino in Independence. Like you said though- all those little towns on 395 have diesel. I guess the OP has never been that way.

There is diesel in nearly every town on 395 Including the 70 junction. The only place that doesnt have fuel that i can remeber is Coleville. Most expensive is Bridgeport.

I believe the new casino some have mentioned is on the south end of Gardnerville not Minden.

Haven't needed to stop there but looks good.

there is a new casino on the south end of minden that has a mini truck stop next to their gas pumps. it is easy in and out even with a 40 footer with toad. the price of fuel in nv is higher but the convenience is worth it if you have a big rig towing.

There are many states where one should start looking to fill up when you get to a 1/2 a tank and Nevada is one of those.

Fairly new Indian Casino s/b 395 just outside Minden NV....very large station, plenty of room. I fueled their when traveling from Lake Topaz to South Lake Tahoe, 37' mh and toad.

Like Genzo said, plenty in Bishop. Gee, this isn't something to worry about.

Anywhere in rural Nevada or eastern California always drive the top half of the tank and fill up before you need it. Many places have diesel but the prices will often be higher.
