Which is the best way to drive from Bakersfield to Palm Springs with not a lot of traffic. We will be leaving from B C tomorrow.

thank you for all the ways to go I think we will try 58 east to 395 to 15 then 10 and hope for the best. We are staying at Orange grove in Bakersfield.To pick some of the wonderful oranges.
