Will be travelling from Moosehead Family Campground in Greenville ME to Shore Hills Campground in Boothbay ME and am receiving conflicting directions.
My RV is a 41' fifth wheel 13' 6" tall and I worry about low heights and getting into tight spots. I maneuver OK but prefer not to risk small towns / bad turns etc.
It looks like the
easiest route is Rt 15 to Bangor, I95 south to I295, Topsham exit and Rt 1 to ME-27 to the campground.
That's about an hour longer than the GoogleMaps generated route of :
ME15 to ME23 to ME7 and I95 south to ME27 straight to Boothbay. That route looks like it goes through several small towns and some roundabouts.
I sure would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
