It's not a horrible road. As I previously said, been a few years since I've been on it. But it is rougher as far as my memory goes compared to say I-29 in the Dakotas, or I-90 across South Dakota.
But it is entirely drive-able. Gosh, there is a lot of traffic in places on it. - hellbird503ExplorerWell, haven't heard anything positive,so, I guess that is not going to happen. Thanks, Dave

Well, the road magically improves dramatically once you cross the line into S. Dakota, at least that was my experience 3 years ago.
Ditto for me. about same time frame when last on the Minnesota side of things. - hellbird503ExplorerWell, the road magically improves dramatically once you cross the line into S. Dakota, at least that was my experience 3 years ago.

Doesn't have to be a concrete road, asphalt, gravel, whatever.
They all go to hell with freezing/thawing temps. If you've ever driven on a gravel road when the frost is coming out and the road is heaving, you'll know what I mean. - kknowltonExplorer IIIt was horrible 20+ years ago too. Concrete roads and areas with large temperature extremes do not mix.
- STANG23LExplorerRan across it the last summer. It was mostly under construction and down to one lane. Might not be to bad now?
