Wanted to mention what a surprise this stretch of Interstate was for us and hopefully for anyone headed this way. With the exception of some road construction around Memphis and Jackson, MS, which didn't slow us down very much, this has been the smoothest Interstate on our route which began with the worst - I-88 up in NY State and has also included I-71 and I-70 which were not a whole lot better (There is nothing quite like miles and miles of the clickety-clack over old concrete roadways on parts of those routes!)
