Mazatlan Bypass

Just a note; the Mazatlan bypass is open for traffic. Dec 6th reported by the Mazatlan Messenger.
  • The four lane highway begins at the junction with the Culiacán-Mazatlán autopista and ends at the junction with Caleritas de Villa Unión,
  • That sounds amazing ... Now if they would just Fix the Rest of the Quota from Nogales and lower the Toll on that Stupid and Grossly Overpriced section at Esquinapa!
This Year I was really unimpressed with most of the Western Route!

On the subject of By Passes I also think it is time to run a Bypass around Puerto Vallarta on Route 200!

For that matter it might be best to just forget about using 200 period. You can always keep on 15D to Guadalahara and head down to the a Coast from there to Colima or Melaque!
  • I think that would cut more that the 30 minutes mentioned with a rig, esp from the North Beaches.
