I would go over the Tap and then 287 to the Sawmill Pky to the Merritt Pky in Ct...this will take you right to Wallingford,CT...Chuck
Good route in a car...not an RV route

It's been 7 years, but we used to travel to Cape Cod regularly to visit Mom & Dad. Always took the Garden State to the northern end then across the Tappan Zee Bridge and picked up I95 across CT. From New Haven, I91 heads up to Wallingford.

I95 can have bad traffic, but a Saturday morning at least avoids the rush hour and will likely be OK.
