Loggenrock, if you are planning a month, I would leave out France. The distances are great. We spent 26 days in Newfoundland (plus a few in Nova Scotia/getting there and some in Labrador) and the 26 in Newfoundland wasn't nearly enough...adding France would surely be too much.
After a few days of driving, driving, driving (from NY), I was just tired of all the driving. I needed to be doing so we cut some out just so there was plenty of time to hike, walk....much better.
This time we will have two months and spend maybe two weeks going around Nova Scotia and no Labrador. We would do Labrador again when they get the road all paved (even if quebec part is not).
