Nogales Mariposa Port update!
From the Nogales International Newspaper:
"The Mariposa Commercial Port of Entry is set to open on Sundays beginning Jan. 19.
The facility will be open for commercial truck imports and exports from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays through April 27, with the exception of Easter Sunday, April 20, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in an announcement dated Jan. 7 and posted online by the Arizona-Mexico Commission.
“The Sunday hours of operation for commercial truck traffic will have no impact to the Mariposa Port of Entry’s hours of operation for passenger travel,” the announcement said. The port is open to passenger vehicles every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The addition of Sunday hours for commercial vehicles coincides with the high season for imports of Mexican produce through Nogales."
