On our way from NJ to the Keys!


We got rolling 5:20 AM today, about 20 minutes behind planned departure, but all is good! Planning a quick stop in northern Virginia for a driver change and a quick walk around check of the Vision.
Second planned stop is South of the Boarder for gas, driver change and a sticker for the rig. Then on to Savanna Georgia by night.
We have a rental car lined up for Sunday, so we can see the local area, as non of us have ever seen more than just the thru route highways in that area. Then onto Florida Monday

    Sounds like you will get here just in time for a cold front as we are finally going to get some cooler weather down here in NE FL. Highs in the mid 50s and lows in the mid 30s is forecast for the first half of the week. Mid FL is expected to be about 8° higher.

    I used to always drive way out of the way when getting close to South of the Border haha... Stopping there used to kill three or four hours easy with all the shops to go through - every time...

    Then Momabear started noticing we was missing South of The Border and started asking questions hehe...

    Fortunately for this south of the border stop, we have no women or children with us, just 6 guys ranging from 21 - 55 years old, so it will be a quick stop.

    We just clearing washington DC now. Still on schedule

    Traveling with the boss man and four other guys in his class A. Although over the summer of 2014 we pulled my hybrid with his RV down to Delaware for a week (pictured), but just the "A" this time.
