This is for future travel for Fall of 2021. Looking for advice on routes and places to stop. I see it is about 975 miles so I will be stopping 3 to 5 nights as I do not rush. Things to see along the way etc. Thanks.

Fort Steele is cool. Kimberly can be a fun stop as well.

All depends on which way you went north.

Concur with using the 16 to 93. I've driven it starting in Eureka, though. I always like stopping at Fort Steele. There is a decent campground and Fort Steele is a fun stop and has had good docents.

CAN 16 to CAN 93 US 93.
We like Canadian Parks, Southwest of Jasper is Whistlers
Near Castle Junction is Castle Mountain
We use campgrounds that do not have FHUs but lots of scenery!
